DECOLONIZING SEXUALITY
Decolonizing Sexuality is a series seeking to foster conversation on the endemic of sexual racism that Black people face within the LGBTQ+ community and beyond. Tackling this deep rooted issue; it’s long overdue that Black queer sexuality is allowed to flourish outside of a dominant white gaze, and create a space which celebrates Black queer voices, bodies, artistry, and talent.

"In a time where black pain and resistance is broadcasted everyday, we felt it was crucial to amplify those that often feel silenced. The black queer experience is one riddled with complex dialogue that often goes overlooked. Each face represented in this series has a voice, body, and personal journey on their experience of living both black and queer. We aim to show the strength that lies within authenticity, and that black queer bodies and creativity outshine their personal struggles."
